What Causes Irregular Menstrual Cycle?

About a year ago I stopped getting a period. Went to the doctor and they said I had a mild case of PCOS. I took Progesterone for a few months and was having a period, but then it stopped again. At that time I had had some signs of what I thought to be pregnancy. About 6 hpt s came back negative and at that time I stopped taking the Progesterone. Had no period for about 3 months and then I started getting a brown discharge for about 1 week and then a very light period with darker red blood. That has been going on for almost 2 weeks. Should I visit my doctor again? What could be going on?

Dear client,
thank you for posting your query.

You will need to visit your doctor again to rule out thyroid problems and also to see if PCOS has incresed over the time period.
