What Causes Irregular Heart Beats In Diabetes?
Hi Doctor my name is Rose i have type 2 diabetes and im experiencing irregular heart beats. Im taking lipitor and also losartan 100mgs my doctor just increased it 2 weeks ago. im also on metphormin 850 mgs bid...just wondering about the skip beats... can you please explain what is going on.. thank you

Skip beats are usually due to some ectopic beats.
They are not necessarily dangerous at all cases. Some cases are quite normal and some may require attention.
An ECG 12 leads with a rhythm strip will give a lot of valuable information in this context .
So consult your doctor.
