What Causes Irregular Dark Periods And Abdominal Cramps?

I had a period around the last week in January, which is a week earlier than normal. Then on Feb 18th I started my period again. With these two periods I had such bad cramping sometime when I would stand on my feet it would knock me to the floor. the period that started on feb 18th was very dark and brown and only lasted two or three days. I have had some cramping since when I was not on my period. But three days ago I started hurting pretty bad in what feels like my left ovary. It has literally not stopped hurting since. It hurts to have sex and it is very painful in my ovary when I pee or when I have to pee. It hurts to walk or lay on that side or on my stomach. I had a tubal ligation two years ago.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, pregnancy is very less likely but if it is ever suspected then better to get done the ultrasonography test, other wise hormone level changes could be the cause for symptoms or irregular bleeding hope this information help.
