What Causes Irregular Bowel Movements And Nausea?

Hi, im a 40 yr old man and i am constantly not feeling well. i am a contractor with high stress and very irregular bowl movements. when i eat it seems as though my food dosent go anywhere. this weekend i was feeling like i was going to throw up and finally used the bathroom but the color was tan and there was no dirty water. Like the stool was clean except for thin tan b.m. im super scared and probably have let it go to long. any ideas that could ease my mind?
