Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I M A FEMALE, 55 YEARS OLD. I HAVE A FREQUENT RAPID RYTHM IN MY HEART AND AN EKG TEST STRESS TEST AND AN ECO TEST SHOWED NORMAL RESULTS. THE DOCTOR SAID I HAVE AN IRREGULAR HEART BEAT WHICH SHE SAID IS NORMAL. I CONTINUE TO FEEL THE RAPID HEART BEATS CONSTANTLY AND FEEL TIRED AND SHORT OF BREATH WHEN I WALK. MY DOCTOR SUGGESTED FOR ME TO TAKE DEPRESSION PILLS FOR ANXIETY (SERTRALINE HCL 50 MG). I FEEL THAT THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANXIETY. WHAT DO YOU THINK CAN BE CAUSING THIS PROBLEM. PLEASE ADVISE!
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern and let me tell you that when all the concern test are unremarkable then why to worry about this, just try to keep the stress level very low, and stop paying attention toward this, hope this information helps.
