What Causes Intestines To Stick?

i want to know if my intestines are stuck again i had surgery on them in october i was in pain and throwing up i was good for a few weeks after the surgery now im in pain again and not able to keep anything down again i was 162lbs and iv lost 12 lbs in 2 weeks what do u think ? why do intestines get stuck?
