What Causes Intermittent Tingling And Numbness All Over The Body?

I am having intermittent all over body tingling, mild numbness that is helped by moving around but becoming worse over the last week. At times it feels like my nerves are burning from the waist down to my ankles. Not in my feet. Also in my arms and hands.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have intermittent tingling and numbness all over the body . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like cervical spondylosis , multiple sclerosis , spinal cord injury , type 2 diabetes , vasculitis or vitamin B-12 deficiency. I would suggest you to bath warm water with epsom salt in it , take proper rest and take healthy diet like fresh fruits and green vegetables . The symptoms can also occur as side effects of spray , your should drink plenty of water , take benadryl twice a day and stay hydrated .Soemtimes the symptoms you mention in query can also occur due to side effects of certain medicine . I condition doesn't get well or get worse then consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan along with physical examination . Doctor may prescribe anti inflammatory , nerve supplement and recommend physical therapy . Doctor may refer you to endocrinologist for diabetes or cardiologist in stroke like condition .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
