General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having spasm of neck and occipital muscles giving this problem.
As 9 hours passed and there are no signs of any cerebral injury like nausea, vomiting, unconsciousness, nothing to worry.
Take some analgesic medicine to get relief.
Consult your doctor and get examined for any signs of brain injury.
Ok and take care.
