What Causes Intermittent Mild Motion Sickness And Imbalance?

I have episodes of mild imbalance and mild motion sickness. No headache but slight dizziness. Can t identify exactly what causes the episodes but seems to occur most times in the morning after breakfast ( usually small meal and varies from fruit to breakfast bar or eggs and toast) and sometimes after a shower and drying my hair. It brings on some sensitivity to bright light. It .also causes me to want to put my head back and sleep. This has been happening for about 4 months. Any thoughts ?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You may be experiencing vertigo. This causes the sensation of movement and may also be associated with nausea as well.

There are different possible causes, the most common causes are related to the inner ear but there are other causes as well.
The inner ear causes are meniere's disease, vestibular neuronitis and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.
Migraines are also a cause and should be considered though you are not having any headaches, the features of the different types of migraines can vary.

This is called basilar migraines.

An ENT doctor or neurologist may be your best option.

I hope this helps
