What Causes Intermittent Lightheadedness, Nausea, Headache, Chest Pain And Heart Palpitations?

I am a healthy 24 yr old woman. Only med is OCs. I have been having a few days of feeling lightheaded on and off, sometimes with nausea and mild headache. I have had brief sharp mid sternal chest pain without SOB, palpitations or sweating. No tenderness over the breastbone. I also have a constant burning in my left shoulder blade. No fevers, calf pain, swelling or tenderness

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
All your symptoms are mostly due to Oral Contraceptive (OC) pills related side effects.
But better to first rule out cardiac diseases.
So consult cardiologist and get done blood pressure monitoring, ecg, 2d echo and Holter monitoring (24 hours continuous recording of Ecg).
If all these are normal then no need to worry for heart diseases.
So you are should meet your gynecologist and discuss about these side effects of OC pills.
Also discuss about other contraceptive measures like condom or diaphragm or depo injection etc.
Once you stop OC pills, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
