What Causes Intermittent High Grade Fever With Pain In Muscle And Nausea?
I have been ill with a variable fever between 99 and 103.3 for 3.5 days. On day three my temperature went from 99 for most of the day, while taking ibuprofen, to 103.3 in the evening when the medication wears off. I m uninsured and don t want to get costly services that may be unnecessary. I have no other symptoms other than muscle ache, tiredness, a cough and mild nausea.

I really appreciate your concern, the given history of fever may be indication of viral fever, right now you need to be in bed as long as it is possible for the fever " Tab Acetaminophen with Ibuprofen three times in day" would give best result, and then wait for few days if this doe not come around then you have to go for blood work, hope this information helps you have nice day.
