What Causes Intermittent Fever, Chills And Diarrhea?

I ve been experiencing intermittent fever several times over the past few months. Age 69. It occurs to me I may have eaten a Blue Bell ice cream bar in March after which I experienced chills and diarrhea. Could symptoms of listeriosis last this long? Symptoms are now fairly mild but annoying. Doctors didn t notice any blood abnormalities. could I still be experiencing symptoms from an undiagnosed infection?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the history of fever on and often since long being then it need to be looked for some infection but for that there should be some associated symptoms still better to get done the routine test like blood work and x-ray of chest, ( Body temperature reading is very important if this is above 99 degree F then and then it would be significant for some pathology) hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
