Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your child have symptoms of intermittent cough and cold in which could be due to chest infection and it could be due to throat infection as well. It seems immunity of child is getting impaired. Avoid intake of cold beverages and outside food. I would suggest you to visit pediatrician once and get it examined by x-ray chest. Start treatment after proper examination. If bronchitis is ruled out then you should go for ENT specialist and it could be due to strep throat , go for swab and sputum test. Start treatment after proper diagnosis is made out. Till then take proper course of antibiotics to you. Take steam inhalation.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well soon.
Best Wishes,
