What Causes Intermittent Cough And Cold In A Child?

Hello doctor my baby is three month old sje is suffering from cold &cough i give sinarest af drops .2ml two time for five days. After that she has dry cough.i dont know why she getting cold &cough offen.monthly two three times she getting cold.please tell me

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your child have intermittent cough and cold in which could be due to chest infection and it could be due to throat infection as well. It seems immunity of child is getting impaired. I would suggest you to visit pediatrician once and get it examined by X-Ray chest. Start treatment after proper examination. If bronchitis is ruled out then you should go for ENT specialist and it could be due to strep throat , go for swab and sputum test. Start treatment after proper diagnosis is made out. Till then take proper course of antibiotics to you. Take steam inhalation.
