What Causes Intermittent Back Pain With History Of Having Hernia And Diverticulitis?
I have had back pain where my bra strap is on and off for a couple of years. I am 67 years of age and have suffered in the past with hiatus hernia, diverticulitis, mainly stomach issues. My diet is pretty good but I wonder if I have too much carbs? Thank you
Hi, Thanks for writing to HCM. Kindly consult a general surgeon for an Xray to check if there is any recurrence of the hernia. Other causes could be vertebral column disc problems or spondylosis going by your age. In that case an orthopaedician shall guide you rgarding further treatment. It cannot occur due to intake of too much carbohydrates. However, maintain a balanced diet. Regards, Dr.Riyanka
