Hello, Vaginal Bleeding after intercourse may be due to different reasons. In case of virgin girl s first intercourse, vaginal bleeding may occur due to rupture of Hymen and that bleeding is minimal. In non virgin girl s case if vaginal bleeding occurs after intercourse and if it s minimal and patient again gets menstrual bleeding after few days then we can say it premenstrual spotting. Premenstrual spotting may occur due to Oestrogen Progesterone hormone imbalance due to intercourse and emotional change. In both the cases mentioned above, pain in abdomen may occur. But patient should visit to Primary physician in such situation to rule out a cause of pain in abdomen and pregnancy if unprotected sex occured.
