Hello
Welcome to HCM.
Uncontrolled BP can cause sleep disturbance.
First, get your father's BP checked.
Other than this, some sleep hygiene habits will help like avoiding daytime naps, avoiding fatty meals in dinner, tea and coffee at bedtime.
A warm water bath before bed can be relaxing.
Adequate light exposure in daytime wil restore sleep wake cycle.

If problem persists, tablet klonopin (prescription drugs) will help.

Thanks.
