What Causes Inner Ear Bleeding?

Hello Doctor, my husbands left inner ear has been bleeding for 8 days now. There has also been some puss like seepage with it. Can u give us a idea as to what it may be? He hasn t had any trauma of any type to his head or face and what not, so we are worried.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
When there is no history of trauma and if the bleeding with pus is coming from the ear, this is more dangerous because the bacteria are more dangerous in this case.
I would advise you to Consult an ENT Surgeon as soon as possible and to get clinical evaluation, cleaning, examination and investigations to get a proper treatment.
I hope this answer helps your husband to get a proper diagnosis and treatment.
