What Causes Inflammation Of The Broken Foot And Ankle?
I broke my foot and ankle and spent 4 months in a cast. After months of therapy I was not able to move my foot. I was told that inflammation had developed during the healing process, but do to not movement it had hardened and is holding the muscles together ,like a scab forms on the outside of the skin. What is this called and how is it fixed?
You may have good relief with physiotherapy like IFT [Interferential therapy] and TENS[Transcutaneous electrostimulation] along with ultrasound. So if possible you can start that.
