What Causes Inflamed Red And Itchy Skin On Exposure To OC Spray?
I am active duty military, and as part of my training, I was OC sprayed today. I was fine during the initial spray and the 2 hours following thereafter. I got back to my base and noticed I began to get itchy on my arms. I took my shirt off and noticed that there were hives on my left and right arm. They are red, inflamed, and itchy. My chest near my heart is relatively tight and the hives have moved down to my lower kneecap on my left leg. I was exposed to the OC spray around 1300 eastern time and it is now currently 2115 eastern time.

I really appreciate your concern, such symptoms could be due to hypersensitivity and this can be managed with "Beclomethasone cream" some time this could be self limiting and wait for some time for this, hope this information helps, take care have a nice day.
