General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear welcome to HealthcareMagic
Regarding your experience with irregular menstrual period with difficulty in getting pregnant I am suggesting that you have developed a secondary infertility caused by the following differential diagnosis

Endometriosis
Endometritis
Adenomyosis
Polycystic ovarian syndrome
Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease
Hormonal inbalance
Fallopian tube infection

In view of this please do the following test
Pelvic scan
Urine culture
Hormone profile test

Meanwhile please see a gynecologist specialist with the result and for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription

Moreover your partner should do a sperm analysis since infertility is a couple problem

I hope this helps Regards
