What Causes Infections In Sperm?
Hi, I am 33 years male , my wife and i want a baby i have tested my sperm i got results the doctor says there is an infection did not ask why and how , he pescribes medication to be used for few weeks , pleaese advcie how did this happend and what is the way forward for

The cause may be orchitis or epididymo orchitis. Orchitis is infection of testis and epidymo orchitis is infection of epidymis and testis both. It can be of bacterial, nonbacterial, noninfectious, or idiopathic in origin. It is caused by either urinary pathogens or transmitted sexually.
Both these are very much curable by anitibiotics and anti inflammatory drugs and mostly resolve without any sequelae.
