Hello!

Thank you for your question on HCM!

I understand your concern, and I would like to explain that your symptoms seem to be caused by anxiety.

But a cardiac arrhythmia can not be excluded, as a possible cause of your symptomatology, though at the tests performed at the ER (like a resting ECG) have resulted normal.

I recommend performing an ambulatory 24 hour ECG monitoring to exclude a possible cardiac arrhythmia.

A routine blood test, thyroid hormone levels, kidney and liver function tests, blood electrolytes are necessary to exclude other causes of arrhythmia.

Hope to have been helpful!

Best wishes,
Dr. Iliri
