What Causes If Excess Fluid Is Not Drained From The Lungs?

My mom has 4 stage non small cell lung cancer and she has been in the hospital every other week for blood clots in both legs, she also has a massive amount of fluid around her lung which they said is smashing the lung. They drained one whole (BIG) bag full and said she still has about to or more bags they need to drain but had to stop due to the pain she was in. Please be honest and tell me what will happen if they can't drain the rest of the fluid and it keeps building up?

Since your mom has lung cancer stage 4 and fluid is accumulating in lungs called pleural effusion, it needs to be drained regularly otherwise she may have acute shortness of breath.
A chest drain may be put in her lungs so that the fluid gets drained continuously and gets accumulated in a small bag.
I would also suggest tab lasilactone 50 mg twice daily for her.
