What Causes Hypertension In 22 Year Old?

Hi.. I m 22 year old guy frm india.. For the past 2 years I m suffering with hypertension. . I don t have any healthy problm but when I check my bp the reading is always above 140/90 .. I have tested some blood test such like lp, vbg and also scannned usg of abdomen and pelvis, ecg also... but there is no problem in those results. Now I m taking amlodac 2.5 mg... doctor. .can I get the reasons behind the hypertension in my age?...

The blood tests and the imaging would have been looking to see if there was any particular cause for your hypertension.
This would include a hormonal cause, due to kidney disease, disease of blood vessels.

If these are all normal and all of the possible causes have been ruled out then you may have essential or primary hypertension.

This is the most common type of hypertension-where there is no obvious cause found.
