Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi.

I had gone through your query.

Hypersomnia itself is psychological disorder which occur without any cause called primary hypersomnia.

Oi any other associated psychological illness then it is called secondary hypersomnia.

It can be a part of atypical depression.

Need psychological assessment for it.medicines like low dose SSRI can help.NDRI like bupropion is also advisable if it is associated with depression.

So consult psychiatrist and get advise.

Thank you.
