What Causes Hot Flushes In Chest Of A Person With Thyroid Disorder?
I m feeling this warmth sensation on my upper left side of chest-no pain though. It comes and goes. It almost feels like someone put a warm cloth over my heart. I m currently taking thyroid medication for underactive thyroid. I don t have diabetes and no high blood pressure. I do have a doctor s appointment tomorrow and will ask him
It is common complaint that people with hypothyroidism complain of hot flashes. This is due to disturbance in termoregulatory mechanism happening in the body.
These get corrected once your thyroid levels in the body stabilize.
Just measure the TSH levels every 3 months, and monitor the dose.
Hope this helps
Best Regards
