Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. In most of individuals migraines occurs due to some vascular phenomenon in brain. Hormonal changes in body also increase the risk of migraines. So hormonal changes can cause hot flashes and migraines both and increase the risk of headache. You have taken Tremadol and the drug is not working. In such case drugs like ergot derivatives like Sumatriptan can help. The drug can help to reduce the severe headache and will result in relief. Apart from this I would advise you to take proper treatment of migraine with regular medicines. Medicines like Amiptryptiline, Nortryptiline etc can help to reduce the headache. Some times sodium valproate, carbamazepine etc are also found to be useful in migraine headache. Propranolol can also be used for prophylaxis of headache. Please consult a psychiatrist for evaluation and treatment.

Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care.
