What Causes Hives On The Body After Taking Pepcid?
My son just took some Pepcid about 20 minutes ago and he has bumps and hives all over his body. I just gave him some Benadryl and it seems to be making him feel better. I also sprayed some dermoplast and he said that felt better too. He has had Pepcid before and has not had had a reaction. He is breathing fine is talking he has no fever just these bumps all over his body and redness. Should I wait a little longer to see if the Benadryl takes effect?

As per your history is concerned he has taken pepcid which is a ppi drug and it has no such properties to make allergic reaction.so allergy may be due to any other sources.Medication given is ok.Thanks
