What Causes High Triglyceride Levels?

my wife has put on about 20 lbs in her belly area, our activity have not changed, we are very active , she is 48, and she went to the doctor last week because her heartrate would increase at bed time and she would loose her breath, all test show normal but triglyceride levels were very high. what would be the cause ? she it getting cvery moodly and i am concerned

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have hypertrigylceridemia.
You should take treatment of that. Take low fat diet with high amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids and high fiber diet.
You can also take drugs like atorvastatin or pravastatin to control your lipid levels. But this is a prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
