What Causes High Sgpt And Sgot When Taking Baraclude For Hepatitis B?
Hi.. My father is diagnosed with Hepatitis B.. He is now taking Baraclude medicine.. Recently his LFT showed that he has high SGPT & SGOT (72 & 83 respectively).. But his bilirubin is normal... Does this mean that medicine (Baraclude) for HBV is not working?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Your father has hepatitis B. His SGOT and SGPT is slightly raised only. In hepatitis theses enzymes level increased very high. If your previous SGOT and SGPT level ars very high then its comes normal level now and nothing to worry. Continue your drug treatment accordingly. Avoid fatty food and alcohol.
