What Causes High Red And White Blood Cell Count?

hi, i got my blood test result back today. i have a high red and white blood cell count. i have had no periods for 5 months. i have headaches dizzy spells and blurred vision which comes and goes. i had a c section nearly 4 years ago...no problems since but did have a blood transfusion too.

Hello and nwelcome to HCM,
Increased number of red blood cells occurs in a condition called polycythemia.
The other symptoms mentioned by you- headache, dizzy spells and blurred vision are characteristic of polycythemia.
However, exact diagnosis can be made after clinical assessment and relevant investigations.
Increased number of white blood cells is seen in case of infections.
The differential count showing reactive lymphocytes is suggestive of viral infection.
If there is history of fever, there are chances of viral infection.
Thus, clinical assessment is required for further management.
