What Causes High Protein Count And Micro Albumin Count In Blood And Urine Tests?
I recently have applied for additional life insurance and via the blood and urine tests it was discovered that I had a slightly high protein count and elevated Microalbumin count. I can provide numbers if need be...is there really a doctor answering this?

Numbers would be beneficial. When we look at a high protien and increased microalbumin, we usually think of renal disease commonly secondary to diabetes mellitus.
There are numerous causes of protienuria and it can be both be physiological and pathological. The symptoms associated or the diet history can help in further diagnosis.
If the levels are indeed high, you need to be on therapy for related disorder. If you are able to give me more history, I will try to help you.
