What Causes High Levels Of Uric Acid With Joint Pain?

I was diagnosed with stage II testicular Cancer January 2009 in February they removed my right testicle. In May of 2009 I started 3 months of Radiation, my Cancer had spread into my limp nods and I had 3 Tumors about 5-6 cm in size. After Radiation treatment the doctors told me the tumors did not shrink in size. My Urologist suggested meeting again because this concerned him. After meeting again we decided to forward my medical records to the University of Indiana Hospital, which specializes in Testicular Cancer. They agreed with my Urologist further test should be run. The test showed I had Teratoma Testicular Cancer and the Treatment would be an RPLND to remove the tumors and limp nods this was done in October 2009.

Sense I’ve had all of this; I have had high levels of Uric Acid, Sed rate and Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have been to a Rheumatologist and he says I don’t have Rheumatoid Arthritis that this must be something from the large amount of Radiation or the Testicular Cancer, however each time these levels are high my joints in my arms, hips, legs, and ankles hurt. These levels are high often, I also have no energy, feel fatigue and week.

After telling you this, do you have any idea's what would be causing all of these issues?
Thanks in advance for your reply

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
hi
i have studied the cause of uric acid rise.it appears to be from tumor lysis' which means after a response to chemotherapy/radiation there is rise in uric acid, phosphates and pottasium.so, i would suggest test for serum K ,serum phosphate, serum yric levels test and also kidney function test like GFR, creatinine. If all these are raised then chances for tumor lysis is likely.
Treatment is by allopurinol injections for urecemia, maintainence of kidney functions with dieuretics etc.
avoid purine rich diets such as red meats, wine alcohol, beans, lentils asparagus
take milkand yogurt,fruit juices,tomatoes, green vegetables,bread,eggs,cake etc
you may take pain medicines as prescribed by your doctor
consult your oncologist for uric acid rise
best wishes,
