What Causes High Fever And Palpitations In Children ? How Can These Be Controlled And Prevented ?
My 2 1/2 year old has a 103 temp. and her heart is pounding out of her chest what could be the problem?...she was fine at midnight last night

Sudden infections due to virus or bacteria are common in small kids and since the temperature is 103 which is quite high the heart is beating loud and fast.Please get her to a doctor immediately for examination and treatment.If you are not able to get immediate appointment; till you visit the doctor please mop her body with normal tap water and if you have at home give a syrup of Paracetamol 125mg and see her fever should reduce in about an hour.
