What Causes High Fever Along With Mild Headaches?

Dear doctor, I m suffering from fever 101 in the morning & 102 during evening. Suffering from weakness n mild pain in the head. My urine is little yellow in colour. I have been taking Zevit & Folvite regularly. Since last 3 days I ve been taking Augmentin 625 & Crocin twice a day. I have a compromised liver in the initial stage and fatty too. I ve been advised not to take any pain killers. Please advise. Thanking you Sincerely yours Pradeep Alreja

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of high fever along with mild headaches which could be due to urinary tract infection or viral infection. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start with paracetamol every 4 hourly. Maintain hydration status of yourself. Take curd in diet as probiotic food . Start taking oral rehydration fluids sip by sip to maintain the hydration. Avoid cold carbonated beverages and spicy and oily food. Take analgesic medication along with anti inflammatory medication. Avoid taking large meals to and take small but frequent meals. Visit general physician once and get it examined. You should go for blood tests as well and start treatment after proper examination.Doctor may also prescribe antiemetic drug along with vasograine for migraine .
