hello. I am a 32 years old female with high cholesterol, low good cholesterol, high triglycerides and I m on levity for my thyroid. I have not had a period since January and neither my regular doctor nor my gynecologist can figure out why. I started 10 mg of lipitor about 4 days ago and the morning after I took the first pull i started to bleed vaginally. I missed a pill 2 nights ago and the bleeding stopped until this morning (I took the pill last night). Can the medication make u bleed as a side effect? my period normally only lasts 3-4 days but this bleeding was really heavy so I figured it was because I went months without it. My hormone levels are normal but my thyroid medication needs to get adjusted cause the levels are up to 400 again.
