What Causes High Bp And An Urge Of Urine?

hi my father age is 70 years.he was taking medicine veltam 0.4 .but he was not take this medicine last month....write now he is suffering from high b.p. he is feeling of urine tendency but urine do not cpmes out side....please sugeest waht may be he reason.

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
He may have benign prostatic hyperplasia with or without prostatitis. It leads to difficulties in urination with increased frequency and tendency. He also has hypertension.

He should go for ultrasound prostate and PSA level. Then he should take treatment accordingly. Drugs like prazocin or terazocin are helpful. It is prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly. If prostate size and volume is increased much then transurethral resection of prostate is required. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
