What Causes Hiatal Hernia?

When I cry, I start to cough and gag. If I don t stop the crying, I will throw up. Afterwards, my throat feels really tight. When I am not crying, there are time where I cough and struggle a little to get that first breath right after coughing. There are also times, I swallow my own saliva and it goes the wrong way. I do have a hiatal hernia. Can this have all these symptoms?

Hiatal hernia is a lack of complete closing of the esophagus after food goes to the stomach. It gives you more problems with acid reflux due to the fact that the esophagus is not closing competely during the digestion.Sometimes you can cough due to the acid reflux.
Avoid this problem sleeping a little elevated.
