What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding Along With Severe Pain In Back Post Miscarriage?

A week ago I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks. I was told I have a fi roix 8cm x 8cm x 8cm on my left ovary. I now though am bleeding heavily, with no clots but am suffering excruciating right hand lower and mid back pain. Burning and stabbing. I feel feint. I have given in and taken 2 500mg paracetamol and 2 30mg codeine. This usually knocks me out I 10 minutes....instead it has taken o ly a mild edge of the pain. I was told conservative treatment. So am not due to go back to gp for .a.week for pregnancy test check. What shud I do? I feel awful and need to work.

If you have a lesion on your ovary, this may be contributing to your pain.

The area may be infected, bleeding or burst. It is also possible that the pain may be related to the miscarriage (if there are any retained parts within the uterus).

It would be best to see a doctor as soon as possible for an assessment which would include physical examination of the abdomen and genital tract as well as an ultrasound.

Treatment would depend on the findings
