Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

According to your information, heavy bleeding after period may be due to following reasons like:

1) Endometriosis, 2) Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, 3) Endometrial or cervical polyp etc.

I suggest you to undergo one pelvic ultrasound scan, Hb% and complete hormone profile to rule out underlying cause and pinpoint the diagnosis.

Until then, I can suggest to take Tranexamic acid 500 mg thrice daily for 3-4 days and DROTIN DS for abdominal cramp. You may require progesterone pill if uterine pathology is detected.

Review with test results or consult with local doctor. Maintain genital hygiene properly. Good luck.
