What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding After Having Ultrasound?

hi, i have no regular cycle and have never had a regular cycle only random very dark spot bleeda. im 28 now and have had 2 babies 8 years apart. on my last birth there was left over product and i had to go back into surgery to remove. 12 months on and i now have a 22mm dominate follicle on my right ovary and i do get sharp pains but they dont last long at all, just momentary. i had a scan done on tuesday internal as well which showed the follicle and also showed no signs of pcos which i was previously told i had.. after the ultrasound i started bleeding bright red but not heavy and no spotting. im concerned the ultrasound could have caused a problem..

HI
Well come to HCM
Irregular bleeding is very common complain and this could be due to hormone imbalance the most common cause but some time could be due to some systemic disease also but may not be due to ultrasound test ( unless have some vascular lesion in uterine cavity like polyp and it must have been ruptured ) else this is nothing to worry, take care.
