I m on my period, I had my first period about 2 years ago. My periods are not normally heavy, i work out at least 4 times a week on and off my period, and this cycle for some reason my flow gets very very heavy when i m doing cardio. i go through a heavy flow tampon about every 30-45 minutes. this has never happened before, and my period is back to being light after i work out. should i go see a doctor?
As per your history you are suffering from heavy periods ,It may be due to a number of pathological causes. So in the past you may be normal so make a ultrasound exam to ruled out uterus and ovary problems first.Secondly make a T3,T4 and TSH test to ruled out Hypothyroidism .Take iron and b-complex regularly .(Thanks)
