Hello I just had a baby in October and I just got my first period after giving birth today and it s extremely heavy and I ve passed 2 clots that were about the size of a golf ball I didn t know if this is normal for the first period after pregnancy or not

First period after delivery may appear as heavy bleeding with clots
so you should be worried but not so much
if it persists for longer period please consult a gynaecologist for examination and an ultrasound
