What Causes Heavy Brownish Discharge After Having Nexplanon Implant?
I recently got the Nexplanon implant about two months ago. My first period after getting on Nexplanon came a few days late and lasted an extra few days but that was fine. But for the past month or so I ve had a non stop brownish/black discharge. It s not heavy enough to be a full on period but I always need to wear a panty liner. It s rather uncomfortable because wearing a panty line every day is 1) inconvenient and 2)it makes me sweat down there more often and more quickly than normal making me feel the need to take more showers daily. Is this normal? And will it ever stop?

Hello dear, I really appreciate your concern. It is very common to have brownish discharge after Nexplanon implant due to hormonal changes. It gradually stops after some time. If the discharge is persistent and you are having discomfort then consult a gynecologist for further investigations.
