What Causes Heavy Bleeding During Menstruation?

Hi, I have had an off period this past week. It started with one day of heavy bleeding and blood clots and then moved to medium the next day and then spotting off and on for about two days. I ve been bloated and tonight had a little spotting after sex. Ive taking a pregnancy test as soon my spotting ceased. It was negative I also took another about a two days after and also negative. I don t think i am pregnant. I ve also had bowel issues and wondered if that could cause any of these issues

hi,
its totally normal to get bowel issues around menstruation. its better to empty your bowels regularly during menstruation to avoid bloated sensation. spotting after having sex is normal during the last two days of menstruation. you dont need to be worried. please stay calm. its a natural process.
