What Causes Heavy Bleeding After Taking Ipills?

I started my period this past Friday and usually last about 4 days because I am on birth control. I should have ended my period today but I noticed that my bleeding was getting heavier and redder again (something you normally see in the beginning of your period). This hasn t happened before and I have normal cycles. What could be the problem?

Hi,
I did not understand your query.
It seems you have taken I pill, & also you state that you are on birth control(?regular cyclical) if so & if you are regular in taking birth control pill. you need not take i pill, which is an emmergency contraceptive.
I pill being an emmergency contraceptive, has high hormonal content, which results in heavy withdrawal bleeding. The mensttrual irregularity/bleeding pattern will come back to normal within couple of months.
Thanks.
