What Causes Heavy And Prolonged Periods?

Hi I came on my period a week early. Lasted about 5 days then thought I came off then the next day I came on for another 2 days then stopped and 3 days later I am cramping. Usually I am on for 7 days and very heavy still heavy with this one just abit odd. If u can help?

Hi. First I wnat to know your age. This is an important factor. Second I wanted to know if this is the first time you are experiencing it. Third, you have to do an ultrasoud examination if you have any fybromyomas, cyst or disfunctional problem. Another thing you should do is a vaginal examination to control the cervix and the last but not the least take a blood sample and see if you have anemia. Because if your hemoglobin is normal, then you organism is able to support this blood loss, but if you have anemia then you should go further examinations and take iron.
