What Causes Heaviness In The Chest?

My chest has been feeling heavy all day. When I jump of run it seems to follow me as if there's something in there and it hurts. Last night I ate a lot of food and immediately went to sleep around 11pm. I do not know if there is a connection there but that is the only unusual thing that I have done.

thanks for asking your question
i completely understand your query
it seems like ,it all happened due to overeating but there are other causes of heaviness in chest like gastritis, cardiac diseases, effusion
you need to consult a general physician who can do a simple ecg and a chest xray if needed to evaluate and rule out other diseases
no need to panic
for now you can take a proton pump inhibitor like pantoprazole after consulting a physician
thanks
feel free to ask more questions
may god bless you with good health
