What Causes Heaviness In Head Of A ADHD Person While On Dextroamphetamine?
I am 43yo and was recently (last week) diagnosed with ASD (Aspergers) and ADHD. I was prescribed amphetamine/dextroamphetamine 10mg twice per day; today while working on writing some complex computer code my head had a kind of tight or heavy sensation...it s not real easy to define. My question is Is this a safe and/or normal side effect or should I consult my Dr? I want to check on here before discussing it with my Dr because I feel that it is helping and I don t want to go back to my dysfunctional prior self if my Dr is worried about this effect. It is not troublesome for me...I just want to be sure it is not a warning of harmful effects.

hello, this s common side effect of this drug and not worrysome , if u r feeling toomuch discomfort then do consult ur doctor so that he may look for an alternative . .
